Amp Camp Amp (ACA) Chassis V1.8 Black with Front Hole

The chassis sections assembled with ease. I have the black facade and the finish is handsome. The unit is solid. Although I figured out the assembly with little lost time, better instructions would have helped. All in all, the design is well thought out.

This is a substantial piece of kit, designed and made well. The black top and bottom plate finish is a bit easy to scratch but not terribly so. When put together, the ACA chassis looks and feels like an audiophile-grade component costing considerable more than its modest price. The product exceeded my expectations. I would add that the hex screws affixing the top/bottom plates to the rails are of a different size (smaller) than the other hex screws in the kit and that the recommended allen wrench is for the larger screws. So when assembling the chassis one must either substitute the larger size steel screws and sacrifice the all-black finish or purchase a smaller wrench.

Very high quality, easy to assemble, chassis was relatively square/true (with some loosening and realigning). Gets plenty warm in use without issue, and sounds fantastic. It's become the reference amp in my system.

Excellent chassis. The instructions could have been in better order. When I built my second amp and chassis, it went smoother and faster.
I put the entire chassis together and took it only apart enough to install the amp.
It fit together that way and was more square and required less fiddling with loosening and re-tightening all the struts and other parts to get the top and bottom to go on squarely.
Nevertheless, the finished product is handsome, functional, and keeps the whole amp as cool as possible.
I don't know how this cabinet was provided, including shipping from Italy, at this price point. I've built other Pass amps, but this one looks like it came from his factory!

Very nicely machined, this is a very good looking and good sounding amp. Easily worth the price, and fun to build. Highly recommended.
